Welcome to Cowboy Cattle Company (CCC), breeders of quality Texas longhorn cattle for the Australian rodeo and time event industry. Yass Valley may be better known for super fine merino wool, but it’s also becoming known as home to a quality herd of texas longhorn cattle.

Here at CCC, we are passionate about breeding high quality Texas longhorn cattle with a balance of important traits, including horn, confirmation, colour and temperament. We put a lot of effort into ensuring each pen of rodeo steers is as even as possible for competitors, and we pride ourselves on presenting healthy steers in rodeo condition. With limited numbers of Texas longhorn females in Australia, our key focus has been to retain cows and heifers with excellent temperament and horn.

Since 2007, we have selected only first-quality, pure-bred, registered Texas longhorn bulls with the best genetics available in Australia in order to retain and improve structure, temperament and horn. Our plans have been a success as this is already showing in our youngest females. We’ve also been lucky that our selected bulls have infused our herd with great hide colours and patterns.
